Girls' Day- Murray's Curry Goat + First Time Trying Rabbit

One thing I always dreamed of is Murray's Jerk Hut being closer because the one time I stopped on my way back from Negril has been etched in my memory and that was years ago. And yes, I know Chillin is in Kingston but to be honest they've moved so many times plus that time I went, and my friend got curry bone soup for curry goat it rubbed me the wrong way.

Personally, I love Di Lot, it's such a fun and artsy space that gives me the right amount of outdoorsy indoorsy vibe I'm looking for and who doesn't love somewhere the friend group can sit at one table and order from multiple restaurants to suit their taste buds?

It was my best friend's turn to pick something for our bestie dates, and she picked pole dancing, and I just had to interject food in the mix, so I suggested a lunch after I bust my ass looking ridiculous at no other than.... let's see if you're keeping up in the comments.

Murray's at Di Lot!

You know the disappointment when things don't slap like the first time around, THANK GOD that wasn't this time. The food surpassed my merry memories and was absolutely divine!

I ordered the curry goat with white rice and roti. The goat had to have been seasoned since last year and slow cooked with love, the meat was tender, juicy and exploded with a symphony of spices and bold flavors, best curry goat I've had. The roti was nice and fresh paired with the shelly rice... chef's kiss.

It was my first time having rabbit and the jerk rabbit was equally flavorful, but rabbit meat tasted like a cross between a meaty chicken breast and a juicy chicken thigh, good but I wouldn't kill a rabbit for its meat because it wasn't a unique taste to me.

From the bar I had the frozen mango daquiri and wow the right refreshing, sweet and cool drink for a hot Jamaican day. My whole meal was perfect.

I'm a curry goat over oxtail girlie and I'm elated that I have a place I'm willing to chump $3,000.00 on a GREAT plate of curry goat a stone's throw away to satisfy my craving.
