Try Mi Hand with Judine Organics

So I made my first order and it was really affordable. I got the Oregano Poultry Ginger Spice, Garlic Jerk Spice, Lemon Garlic All Spice and Fish and Seafood Spice. I was home on a Saturday afternoon and felt for something nice so I decided this would’ve been the perfect time to try it out in some Spaghetti and meatballs.

I didn’t have much natural seasonings so I chopped up the garlic, purple onion and scotch bonnet pepper and I’m really hoping the oregano poultry ginger spice was gonna carry the weight to make the meatballs yummy considering I was lacking the usual shenanigans to make my meatballs. I also wanted to know what the seasoning tasted like so I opted not to put anything else in there but the spice ,yup not even salt and black pepper.

Mixed it all in made my little meatballs and let them marinate for a while before frying.

Something I should point out from the day I received the order I knew it was a potent blend because I could smell the seasonings from the bag without even opening it and when I did pop open that zip lock bag the aromatic scent hit me ! My fragrant sensitive nose went in a frenzy ! When frying the meatballs the whole kitchen smelled like something great was happening in the pot!

When making the tomato sauce I decided to add some more spice and the truth that this was an organic blend really showed because you could see the leaves and seeds in the blend (see photo for reference) so you know it’s the real deal.

Now I don’t really know what oregano is I just know it’s a fancy spice people put in food but it definitely took the store bought Prego Tomato Sauce to another level. It added a deep robust flavor to the usual tangy pizza like flavor, that’s definitely a plus when you’re being lazy. Who could’ve told me I didn’t make this from scratch! (Hides the left over sauce way back in my refrigerator).
