When in Ochi have drinks at John Crow Tavern

Let me first advocate for responsible drinking and no drinking and driving. Keep safe out there, your life and the life of others is too precious to be lost due to driving under the influence.

Now that we got that settled. Tell me why I went out for drinks at John Crown Tavern in Ocho Rios and got drunk! “Anyting sweet yuh gwaan sour yuh rass, RADAM!”

All I remember after the Blue Lagoon was someone telling me to shut up and I blame John Crow Tavern 100% for getting me drunk because the drinks were too good and cheap!

I started off with a Corona cause I always wanted to be one of those people that drink Coronas with the little lime. Didn’t like it but I also didn’t hate it, it’s an acquired taste but I wasn’t gonna waste my money, no siree so I chugged it to hurry up and get it off.

Next I got a John Crow Batty Rum Punch. I’m really one of these people that creative packaging, names and flashy lights ketch. It definitely had some Kingston 62 but was mixed well with whatever white rum, orange and pineapple juice. If you drink Kingston 62 I’m praying a special prayer for you.

A Miami Vice, everybody know bout Miami vice. The Crowbar Melon Illusion which was melon liqueur, vodka, triple sec and pineapple juice, yum.

And finally the Blue Lagoon, the prettiest electric blue drink made with vodka, blue curaçao, lime juice and simple syrup another tasty drink.

Problem is they were all so good and I had all of these in a 1 hour and 30 minutes window. Moral of the story, John Crow Tavern is a great place for drinks and a decent dj and most importantly pace your drinks!
